Our Manchester event will offer 80 delegate training places so that all small charities, wherever they are, can access the skills they need to become self-sustaining. This training day is part of the Small Local Charities and Community Groups Training Programme.
Training sessions cover a wide range of fundraising techniques and back office skills delivered by experienced and knowledgeable trainers.

Developing Your Fundraising Strategy (Full Day)

Legacy Fundraising (Full Day)
Legacies provide around £1.9 billion income for charities every year and should be a key part of any charity’s funding mix. In 2008, 15.8% of wills contained a charitable bequest, compared with 9.5% in 2006. The legacy market is experiencing strong growth and all charities no matter how large or small should consider how they can build a legacy income stream. Budgets, Management Accounts, & Cash Flow Forecasting (AM Half Day)
This module, delivered by Charity Finance Group (CFG), will give a sound basic foundation to equip those who work with finances of small groups and small charities. How to Prepare Your Annual Reports (PM Half Day)
All charities must prepare and submit annual reports and accounts and in the current climate, transparency is key.
