Training in London: 27th March 2019

Our London event will offer 20 delegate training places so that all small charities, wherever they are, can access the skills they need to become self-sustaining. This training day is part of the Small Local Charities and Community Groups Training Programme.

Training sessions cover a wide range of fundraising techniques and back office skills delivered by experienced and knowledgeable trainers.

  • Venue: The Grayston Centre, 28 Charles Square, Hoxton, London, N1 6HT
  • Time: 9.45am – 1.00pm (registration from 9.15am); 1.45pm – 4.30pm (lunch/registration from 1.00pm)

The Internet is now used daily by 82% of adults in the UK, and online fundraising is continuing to grow as an income channel for charities. This course will provide an overview of how charities can raise funds online, and break down the key terminology surrounding online fundraising and crowdfunding. Creating and Delivering a Successful Crowdfunding Campaign (PM Half Day)

In the age of social media, project crowdfunding has become a popular way for charitable groups to raise money online. This training will discuss the key terminology around crowdfunding. It will also discuss different strategies groups could use, and help participants create a delivery plan for a successful crowdfunding campaign.
