In partnership with Community Links Bromley, these workshops cover a wide range of fundraising techniques delivered by experienced and knowledgeable trainers, to give small charities, voluntary and community groups the skills they need to be sustainable. You can attend one, two or all three workshops on the day.

Develop Your Fundraising Strategy: Session 10.45 am – 12.15 pm

A comprehensive and effective fundraising strategy is at the core of sustainability for any charity. This workshop will help you to consider a variety of fundraising options and consider their appropriateness for your cause, organisation and both short- and long-term needs.

Fundraising from Trusts and Foundations: Session 1.00 pm – 2.30 pm

With an estimated 9,000 independent trusts and foundations in the UK giving £2 billion in grants each year they are a prime source of funding for your charity. This workshop will help you to enhance your trust funding application, using appropriate language and adhering to best practice principles and methods.

Stewardship: Retaining & Maintaining Donors: Session 3.00 pm – 4.30 pm

Stewardship is an often overlooked process but is a critical tool to build and maintain ‘lifelong’ relationships with your charity. This workshop will help you to understanding the vital role of Stewardship in increasing long term support.
