In November, we will be offering a series of full and half day online training over two days so that small charities, wherever they are, can access the skills they need to become self-sustaining.

Training sessions cover a wide range of fundraising techniques and back office skills delivered by experienced and knowledgeable trainers.

This one day training course is animportant reality check for an organisation contemplating running a capital campaign. Beginning from the early stages when organisations must be honest and ask ‘is this the right time for an appeal?’, the course looks at the details of planning, strategy, management and evaluation.

Courageous Communication (Half Day AM)

How confident are you at handling difficult conversations effectively? Delivering your message whilst balancing maintaining relationships with achieving your desired outcome, is a key leadership skill. Perhaps you feel anxiety around performance issue conversations? Maybe you are instigating a conversation about the need for organisational change? The Art of Effective Delegation (Half Day PM)

How effective are you at delegating? Or do you find it easier to do everything yourself? Maybe you feel uncomfortable asking other people to take on more work? Or you’re unsure if your requests will land on deaf ears? Perhaps you think that your reports won’t complete the work to a high enough?

Developing your case for support (Full Day)

The importance to your organisation of a clear and concise Case for Support is vital to your success in securing donors. Telling a compelling story of your work will have a huge impact on your ability to engage donors and raise funds to support your organisation.  The course will give you the skills and tools to develop an inspiring internal document – the organisational encyclopaedia known as the Core Case for Support that creates a uniform message about why they are important as an organisation, how they make a difference and what people can do to support or get involved. Fundraising through digital channels (Full Day)

  • Incorporating digital into your existing fundraising strategy​​

  • How to approach different digital channels to support different fundraising areas​

  • What you will need to have in place to successfully fundraise in the online world
