Employment law is just as relevant for charities as it is any business organisation. Employees and volunteers are often a charity’s greatest asset, we therefore need to ensure we are following current employment law to protect those working for us as well as protecting our charities from any potential legal claims.

Employment law is much more than contracts and policies, it also covers employment disputes and dismissals, equal opportunities and discrimination, grievances and performance management and the status of volunteers under employment to name but a few.
