Understanding UK giving behaviour: insights for small charities

CAF’s UK Giving report is the largest study of giving behaviour in the UK.
In this talk Susan will share the key findings from UK Giving 2019. Come along and find out how the UK public take part in charitable activities and what this means for small charities.

Susan Pinkney, Charities Aid Foundation:
As CAF’s Head of Research, Susan is responsible for leading world-class research projects such as the World Giving Index, the leading global survey of generosity, UK Giving, the largest annual survey into giving in the UK and Charity Landscape, our annual survey into charity Chief Executives challenges.

An experienced commentator, well versed in making the complex simple and drawing sharp insights from data, Susan knows how people give, whether it is through sponsoring friends or family or how much charity bake sales raise for good causes, bringing opinion to life and drawing on a career in social and market research working mainly for UK Government departments, the Scottish Government and charities.
