Consultancy & Development Manager
Lindsay joined the FSI in August 2018 from small arts charity Spitalfields Music, where she was Development Manager for 2.5 years leading on fundraising from trusts and foundations, statutory sources, and individual donors. Prior to that, she was selected to be part of the prestigious Arts Fundraising & Philanthropy Fellowship, spending a year working with a consortium of six small rural arts charities in Dorset and attaining a Distinction in a Postgraduate Certificate in Arts Fundraising & Leadership from the University of Leeds.
After cutting her teeth in the arts, Lindsay is keen to widen her experience across the charity sector, complementing her volunteering experience as Trustee of community organisation St Margaret’s House and organiser of young professionals cross-sector network The Changemakers.
Lindsay led the Special Projects team in 2018-19, including Small Charity Week 2019, and now sits in the Business Development team, supporting charities through consultancy, looking after the FSI’s voluntary income, and developing the Emerging Executives programme, among other things.
