The FSI Scholarship programme is designed to kick-start development opportunities for rising stars working for small Not-for-profits who demonstrate a commitment to excellence in fundraising. FSI Scholars have a passion for the Not-for-profit sector and to broadening their outlook and opportunities. The two year long FSI scholarships are awarded on a rolling basis to one individual each year.

Over the course of the two years scholars are taken on an inspiring exploration of fundraising learning and experience. Each FSI Scholar will:

•  Undertake a Chartered Management Institute Diploma in Management Level 5
•  Benefit from membership to the Institute of Fundraising
•  Meet with fundraisers from across the globe at the International Congress in Amsterdam
•  Spend three days at the UK National Fundraising Convention learning about the innovative work happening in the sector
•  Spend two days each year experiencing work in a large successful charity
•  Be mentored by The FSI over the two year period of the Scholarship
•  Attend 8 FSI training events covering key fundraising mechanisms
•  Join 200 delegates learning and interacting with leading experts at The FSI forum each year
•  Receive four, one to one support sessions from The FSI team in areas of special interest
•  Gain exposure in full coverage of your progress and development in Professional Fundraising Magazine over the two year Scholarship

We are very pleased to announce that Kate Jackson, Membership Development Officer for the Lancashire Wildlife Trust is The FSI's very first scholar. Read more about Kate and her experiences here.
