Half day course, PM, 5th December, Oxford
This module, delivered by Charity Finance Group (CFG) will give a sound basic foundation to equip those who work with finances of small groups and small charities. This course focuses on understanding and developing budgets, cash flow forecasts, and management accounts.
This course will be beneficial for those who work with the finances and money handling in a small charity or a small group. This can be a volunteer, treasurer, finance person, or other manager/CEO.
At the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Understand what a budget is and how to develop one.
- Learn how you can use budgets to support funding requests.
- Be able to understand, plan and develop a cash flow forecast.
- Understand what management accounts are and why they are useful.

Cost: To secure a place you will be required to pay a £30 deposit per half day course but on attendance and after completing the course £22.50 will be refunded to you. Retained fees contribute to booking, administration and material costs. Deposits will not be returned in cases of partial attendance.
