How to prepare your annual reports
CFG’s Small Charities Programme delivers affordable, relevant, useful financial training and free downloadable resources, aimed at supporting small charities in different locations across England and Wales. The objective is to help small charities manage their finances more effectively, enabling them to deliver better services to current and future beneficiaries.
All charities must prepare and submit annual reports and accounts and in the current climate, transparency is key. Based on inspiring case studies from other small charities, this module, delivered by Charity Finance Group (CFG) covers the essentials, from measuring impact, telling your story, and building public trust to preparing for year-end, an audit or independent examination.
This module will give you everything you need to write a first-class annual report, including:
- Statutory reporting requirements for charities
- Preparing for year-end; independent examinations (IEs) and audits
- Demonstrating impact and telling your story
- The importance of transparency
- How to build public trust

Cost: Full Day Training Courses: have an average market value of £300 but are delivered to our members for £15, to secure a place you will be required to pay a £50 deposit but on attendance and after completing the full day training course £35 will be refunded to you. Retained fees contribute to booking, administration and material costs. Deposits will not be returned in cases of partial attendance.
