The FSI Scholarship

Welcome to The FSI Scholarship homepage.                                                                       Scholar's Blog

We are very pleased to announce that Kate Jackson, Membership Development Officer for the

Lancashire Wildlife Trust is The FSI's very first scholar.

Lancashire Wildlife Trust

The Lancashire Wildlife Trust is dedicated to the protection and promotion of the wildlife in Lancashire, seven boroughs of Greater Manchester and four of Merseyside, all lying North of the River Mersey. The Trust provides protection for endangered species, owns and manages nature reserves, educates and inspires children to carry on the work, offers opportunities for people to volunteer in worthwhile conservation projects and campaigns at every level of government.

The FSI is passionate about the Not-for-profit sector, about investing in it and showcasing all of its creativity and achievement. The inspiration behind building The FSI Scholarship, however, was our commitment to empowering leadership for change – to ensuring a bright and ambitious future for the sector.

Scholar

Kate was judged to be the most passionate, creative and

determined applicant from a formidable field.

Kate said,"This is an opportunity to gain qualifications,

  attend otherwise unaffordable international fundraising

conventions and be mentored by leading experts in

fundraising – quite simply something that does not exist in

the sector for smaller organisations. I am so thrilled to have

been given this chance to build on my skills for The

  Lancashire Wildlife Trust."
