The FSI Challenge 2008

On Saturday 7th June The FSI hosted a 4km and 10km Challenge in Derbyshire as an opportunity for small charities to recruit entrants to raise money for their cause.
The Challenge was in the Peak District, near Bakewell, and ended at the private stately home of Emma Harrison, the Secret Millionaire and founder of The FSI, with a BBQ and a cheer team for finishers.
The day was such a success, thanks in no small part to the entrants and charities involved. The Baden Powell Scouts that helped out as marshals were a fantastic part of this too.
The purple tutus, cowboy hats and wigs, that entrants could run/walk in, went down a treat and the images of over 60 entrants winging their way through the beautiful Peak District was unforgettable.
From the day over £2,345 was raised for the 7 small charities that took part.
Next year's event will be held on Saturday 6th June 2009 - make sure you put the date in your diary!
