Workshops in West London September 26th 2018

Workshops cover a wide range of fundraising techniques delivered by experienced and knowledgeable trainers, to give small charities, voluntary and community groups the skills they need to be sustainable. You can attend one, two or all three workshops on the day. Please note that Hillingdon Community Trust will be offering a sandwich lunch as part of the day.

WEDNESDAY 26th September 2018

Demonstrating Your Impact: Session 10.45 am – 12.15 pm

Effectively demonstrating your impact to your key stakeholders such as donors, grant makers, partners, trustees, media and staff is essential for securing ongoing support for your work. This workshop was designed to help you communicate your impact with stakeholders.

Develop Your Fundraising Strategy: Session 1.00 pm – 2.15 pm

A comprehensive and effective fundraising strategy is at the core of sustainability for any charity. This workshop will help you to consider a variety of fundraising options and consider their appropriateness for your cause, organisation and both short- and long-term needs.

Supporting & Managing Volunteers: Session 3.00 pm – 4.30 pm

For many small charities, volunteers are at the heart of the valuable work that they do but recruiting and managing them can be a challenge, both for the charity and for the volunteer. This workshop will help you to develop effective strategies to recruit new volunteers, and retain, value and motivate existing volunteers.
