Workshops in (Harrow) North West London March 5th 2018

Workshops are being delivered in partnership with Voluntary Action Harrow. Workshops cover a wide range of fundraising techniques delivered by experienced and knowledgeable trainers, to give small charities, voluntary and community groups the skills they need to be sustainable.   You can attend one, two or all three workshops on the day.

Community & Events Fundraising: Session 10.00 am – 11.30 pm

With an estimated 9,000 independent trusts and foundations in the UK giving £2 billion in grants each year they are a prime source of funding for your charity. This workshop will help you to enhance your trust funding application, using appropriate language and adhering to best practice principles and methods.

Legacy Fundraising: Session 11.45 am – 1.15 pm

Legacies provide around £1.9 billion income for charities every year and should be considered within any charity’s funding mix. This workshop will help you to develop appropriate and effective communications related to legacy giving.

Stewardship – Retaining and Maintaining Donors: Session 2.00 pm – 3.30 pm

Stewardship is an often overlooked process but is a critical tool to build and maintain ‘life long’ relationships with your charity. This workshop will help you to understanding the vital role of Stewardship in increasing long term support.
