This survey, carried out over 2012/13 and launched for Small Charity Week 2013, explores skills within the UK’s small charity sector. It builds on the FSI’s previous Skills Survey conducted in 2010/11 and specifically identifies key skills issues facing small charities.
It focuses on significant skills gaps and shortages and discusses approaches to dealing with them. The survey also looks at the most hard to fill vacancies within the small charity sector.
The survey was produced with the support of the Institute of Fundraising and the Cabinet Office, and was conducted as part of our work to promote skills, knowledge and sustainability of small charities.
