Legislative Activity

The FSI works to positively raise the issues concerning small charities registered in the UK.  Our aim is to influence the external environment and in so doing increase the influence of our members (small charities with a turnover of less than £1.5 M per annum: 97.8 of the total charity sector in the UK).

One of the key ways that this is accomplished is through our policy work.  Using evidence gathered from our membership of just over 3,000 charities (February 2014) provides a strong evidence based approach to influencing government and other decision makers by inputting into legislative papers relating to the work of the small charity sector.
