Today small charities* are working in an increasingly challenging climate. Small charities need a voice in this new ‘normal’ and the Federation for Small Charities Council (FSCC) want to ensure that this happens.

The Council looks at matters arising in the sector and sector trends. The Council is led by the Chairman and support by the Foundation for Social Improvement (FSI). The work of the Council is informed by current research and through their participation in the Small Charity Index.

Politicians, government officials, the media and other influencers will now have a reliable source of opinions when they want to discuss or learn about the sector. Please see the ‘Join Us’ page if you are interested in your small charity becoming a member of the Council.

*Small charities are defined as those organisations with an annual turnover of less than £1.5m.
