Katherine’s background is in International Development where she has completed a Masters, and her thesis on School Feeding Programmes, which prepared her for her work with the United Nations World Food Programme in Malawi, Africa.

Working as a VSO volunteer in the field Katherine developed vital partnerships with other charities, and then worked in programme management in the regional office. In these roles, Katherine got a chance to develop her skills in monitoring, evaluation, and programme management.

She brings to The FSI, a passion for the sharing of knowledge and resources partly due to her experiences seeing duplication of research and withholding of information while in Africa.
