After many years of managing the family construction company Jill decided upon a career change in the late 80’s and has since worked with local Government in South Yorkshire in the design and implementation of Urban Programme, Single Regeneration Budget and European funding programmes to ensuring that these were relative and meaningful to local people.

Jill has also worked with the Coalfields Regeneration Trust delivering development support and was tempted out of a career break to develop and implement the CC+ programme where she has been supporting charities in the North and East Midlands ever since.
