I met with an amazing Foundation

Friday, 15 June 2007
You know how it feels when you have a meeting and ‘it just works’, well that’s how I felt on Monday this week.  I met with an amazing Foundation who really ‘got’ what The FSI was all about and were so enthused by what we are trying to do.  When you are starting up it’s so important to have those boosts of confidence and energy that someone appreciating and being enthusiastic about what you are trying to achieve gives you.  I immediately had to ‘phone a friend’ and just tell someone how great life is.
They liked what we did so much that they asked us to undertake our first piece of work with a Charity they support.  I am so looking forward to ‘getting started’.

Anyway the week got better by the day and on Tuesday I had my first meeting with Credit Suisse who I believe share an understanding of our vision to enhance the sector.
They wonderfully offered their support to host our first ever World Class Forum ‘Sharing the Best’ in November (look at the events calendar to find out more).

On Thursday The FSI hosted an Israeli Charity visit to the UK to meet with the NSPCC and other same interest Charities in the UK.  It’s great to network organisations and just facilitate connections between people – its got to be the best way of sharing learning and The FSI will be making every endeavour to facilitate these interactions. If you have experience learning from another organisation and want to share it with us please email us, we would love to hear from you.
