The FSI Scholar story
The FSI Scholar has been announced...............................Kate Jackson, Membership Development Officer for The Lancashire Wildlife Trust was judged to be the most passionate, creative and determined applicant from a formidable field. She will be tutored and mentored by The FSI and followed by Professional Fundraiser Magazine over the next two years.
Kate said,"This is an opportunity to gain qualifications, attend otherwise unaffordable international fundraising conventions and be mentored by leading experts in fundraising – quite simply something that does not exist in the sector for smaller organisations. I am so thrilled to have been given this chance to build on my skills for The Lancashire Wildlife Trust."
Pauline Broomhead, Chief Executive, The FSI said, “The charitable sector is dominated by the great work of the larger charities, but we are thrilled to be highlighting the skill of fundraisers working for smaller organisations and elevating Kate’s profile in the sector.”
