Take a look at this opportunity for small charities shared by The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust.
The iT4Communities IT Volunteering Awards 2008 are hosted by the British Computer Society. The Awards celebrate the best and most innovative IT volunteers and IT volunteering projects in the voluntary and community sector. And the winning charities each get £500!
If you know someone whose voluntary IT skills have made a huge difference to your organisation or if you worked on an IT volunteering project together then nominate them here!
We believe that effective and sustainable IT projects can help make the difference to charitable organisations. Through effective use of IT volunteers, any charity or voluntary group can make the difference to their communities. Be it setting up a secure social network for vulnerable adults, training excluded children to take their first steps in IT or designing the database that keeps track of vital funders, all charitable organisations are invited to nominate their project or their extra special IT volunteer.
If you're ready to nominate your volunteer or project then click here for the chance to win £500 for your charity. The deadline for nominations is Friday 19th December 2008.
