In 1986 estate agent Suzy Lamplugh, a 25 year old estate agent disappeared after she went to meet an unknown client. So far her body has not been found.
Suzy Lamplugh Trust, the charity started in her memory by her parents Paul and Diana, raises awareness of the importance of Personal Safety. We offer solutions that help people to avoid violence and aggression and live safer, more confident lives.
Since it was established in 1986, Suzy Lamplugh Trust has grown considerably and its work has broadened out to cover a much wider area than the original concept.The Trust is based at The National Centre for Personal Safety in central London. Working with a wide range of partners in the public, private and voluntary sector, the Trust continues to seek out new ways to keep people safe from violence and aggression.
