POWER International
Creates opportunities for disabled people to make real and positive changes in their lives and escape from poverty. Working in Zambia, Mozambique and Laos, we help people with disabilities to identify their needs and achieve a solution. Current projects include Access to Education for Disabled Children in Laos, Mozambique and Zambia. Our radio clubs for people with disabilities are still going strong in Mozambique and Laos. Our COPE project in Laos provides mobility solutions for people disabled by trauma or during birth. We work with disabled women and girls in Mozambique and Laos to fight domestic violence.
Mission statement
To work with people with disabilities in poorer countries of the world, together identifying and meeting needs, thus enabling full participation in society by all people on an equal basis.
