Captive Animals' Protection Society (CAPS)has been at the forefront of reducing the number of animal circuses in the UK, to an all-time low. Its ongoing campaign has been instrumental in getting the previous Government to agree to a ban on the use of wild animals in circuses. CAPS is now urging the current Government to commit to this ban. CAPS also campaigns for a phasing out of zoos and for an end to the exotic pet trade.
