ACLT

The ACLT is a leading leukaemia charity dedicated to educating and raising awareness about the severe shortage of life saving donors on the UK Bone Marrow Stem Cell and Blood registers. We recruit donors, especially from Black & ethnic minority communities, as they are poorly represented and their odds of finding a racially matched donor is about ONE in 100,000!Donate today

Mission statement

The long term aim of the ACLT is to educate and raise awareness about the importance of registering as potential bone marrow donors, blood and organ donation. Our work will enable worldwide donor searches on behalf of Black, Mixed Race and Ethnic Minority patients. The charity works in conjunction with the world bone marrow registers and NHS Blood & Transplant in recruiting potential donors. Funds raised help us deliver education, appeals, media & PR campaigns and donor registration events.
