<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Step 1:Register to take part</strong></span></p>
<p>•Firstly you will need to register with the <strong>FSI community</strong>, within which you can then register to take part in the <strong>car draw</strong>. It is free to register. Your organisation will need to be 100% not-for-profit with a raised voluntary income of less than £1.5 million to take part.  </p>
<p>•You can participate <strong>online</strong>, <strong>offline </strong>(paper tickets) or <strong>both</strong>, just identify your preference in the registration.<br />
</br></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Step 2a: To take part online</strong></span></p>
<p>•Once you have registered in the community, you will shortly (within two working days) be sent an e-mail from the FSI with a link to your unique charity payment page.</p>
<p>•You can then send your individual <strong>charity purchasing page link</strong> to your supporters and they will be able to buy tickets online to support your charity, simply by clicking the buy tickets button and completing their details. If payment has been successful, your supporters with then receive an e-mail with their ticket numbers.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Step 2b: To take part offline</span></strong></p>
<p>•Once registered, the FSI will send you the number of paper tickets you requested and you can start selling them for £2 each (please allow 3 working days for the arrival of the tickets as they are sent out with second class stamps).</p>
<p>•Make sure you fill in the information requested on the ticket stubs otherwise the ticket will be void.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Step 3: Promote your tickets to increase your fundraising</span></strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">•Write a news story on your website and in your newsletter.</p>
<p> •Add a signature to the bottom of all emails that lets everyone know about the Great Big small Charity Car Draw and where they can buy a ticket.</p>
<p>•Set up a link to direct supporters across to buying the tickets through your charity profile page on the FSI website (if you are participating online).</p>
<p>•Send an email to volunteers and supporters (don’t forget to tell them where they can buy tickets!).</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Step 4: End of Draw</span></strong></p>
<p>•On <strong>16<sup>th</sup> September 2011</strong> the draw closes and you must stop selling offline tickets. Online tickets will no longer be available to buy.</p>
<p>•If you participated online, you don’t need to do anything apart from stop advertising tickets.</p>
<p>•If you participated offline, you must send sold ticket stubs, money from ticket sales, unsold tickets and your returns form back to the FSI by the <strong>30<sup>th</sup> September 2011</strong>. If you do not send these back your tickets will not be entered into the draw and the sales will be void.</p>
<p>•The draw will take place on <strong>25<sup>th</sup> October 2011</strong> at the FSI’s Forum for small charities and the winner announced and contacted. The winning ticket number will also be placed on FSI website.</p>
<p>•After the draw you will be asked to complete an end payment form confirming your charity bank details. Once this has been completed, the FSI will transfer 95.2% of ticket proceeds to the participating small charities.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Key things for participating charities to remember:</strong> </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">• ALL tickets must be sold for £2. </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">• Tickets must not be sold to under 18 year olds or vulnerable persons and can only be sold in England, Scotland and Wales. </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">• You must stop selling tickets by <strong>16th September 2011.</strong> </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">• You must send all unsold tickets, ticket stubs and money to the FSI by <strong>30th September 2011</strong> or the ticket numbers will not be entered into the draw and the sales will be void. Please note that the FSI will not accept cheques from your supporters. </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">• The FSI is the license holder (licensed with the Gambling Commission; no. License number 019816-R-302937-001 (remote) and 019816-N-302938-001 (non-remote)) and promoter of this lottery and this fact must be stated in all advertising. </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">• Advertising must be conducted in a legal manner – please see information on the Committee of Advertising Practice website <a href="http://www.cap.org.uk/cap/advice_online/advice_online_database/">www.cap.org.uk/cap/advice_online/advice_online_database/</a> and view the <a href="http://www.thefsi.org/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/Advertising-rules-charities.pdf" target="_blank">Advertising rules for charities</a> document. </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">• Tickets cannot be sold on the street and it is the responsibility of the charity to ensure that ticket sales are conducted in a legal manner. </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">• You must be a small charity to benefit from this lottery – this is a 100% not-for-profit organisation with an annual raised voluntary income of £1.5 million. If the charity is not of this income size and a winning ticket is picked, it will be null and void. The FSI will make random spot checks on size of charities participating. If you wish to find out more information about small charities and why the FSI supports them, please do get in contact. </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> • Tickets will only be sent out in batches of 500 at a time.  Once an organisation has been sent 1,500 tickets no more will be sent out to them until batches of their completed ticket stubs have been received in the office. </p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Step 2: Pick type of ticket</strong></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Choose to buy online or contact the charity to buy paper tickets from them in person. Note: not all charities will register for both options.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The winning ticket will be drawn on <strong>25th October</strong> at the FSI Forum for small charities.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Step 3: Spread the word</strong></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">For every £2 ticket sold, the charity receives £1.90! So, get your friends, family and colleagues involved and raise money for small charities at the same time as being in with a chance of winning a stunning new Fiat 500!</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><a href="http://www.ostomylifestyle.org/" target="_blank">Ostomy Lifestyle </a>- support people affected by stoma surgery (resulting in a colostomy, ileostomy or urostomy) ensuring that they are able to lead a full and active life.     </p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><a href="http://www.oursansar.org/" target="_blank">Our Sansar</a> &#8211; is a young development NGO run by a team of volunteers, working on a number of projects helping communities that do not receive help from other sources.     </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><a href="http://www.oursansar.org/" target="_blank"></a><a href="http://www.thefsi.org/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/Target-Tuberculosis1.jpg"></a> <a href="http://archerproject.org.uk" target="_blank">The Cathedral Archer Project (CAP)</a> &#8211; is a day centre that helps people who are homeless. Homelessness can include sleeping rough, occasional hostel spaces, camping on friends’ floors and sofas, and squatting. The CAP is a place of safety and warmth, where homeless and vulnerable people will be welcomed and supported. Service users include alcohol and substance abusers, street workers, people with learning difficulties and disabilities, refugees and failed asylum seekers from a variety of backgrounds and ages.     </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><a href="http://www.cureparkinsons.org.uk/">The Cure Parkinson&#8217;s Trust </a>-  has one bold aim, to cure Parkinson&#8217;s. Our research profile is dynamic and we have become known for our trailblazing approach which has uncovered new targets in the treatment of Parkinson’s.     </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><a href="http://indiadirect.org.uk/" target="_blank">India Direct</a> &#8211; is a small UK charity based in Cheshire, run entirely by volunteers who have a heart for the poor and have donated time and skills to achieve something real and lasting for India’s poorest people – the Outcastes and Untouchables (Dalits). We have a team of 7 Trustees and a small band of helpers.     </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><a href="http://www.thefsi.org" target="_blank"><span style="color: #0000ff;">The FSI </span></a>- everyday small charitable organisations support individuals, families and communities and positively touch the lives of millions. On a daily basis thousands of these organisations struggle to remain open. The FSI delivers expert knowledge, strategy and support to them free of charge so their futures are secure and their users protected.     </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="color: #0000ff;">St Wilfred&#8217;s PTA</span></span> - need to build a new school for our 400+ children, aged 3-11, and have taken on the task of raising the £300,000 required towards it. We want to Make A Difference and are racing towards the finish line to raise as much as we can.     </p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><a href="http://www.villageaid.org/" target="_blank">Village Aid </a>- strongly believes that African people are best placed to deal with the problems in Africa. We help them by providing resources and capital so they can develop solutions. Village Aid works closely in partnership with locally based grassroots organisations that are at the heart of the communities which they support.     </p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><a href="http://www.platform51.org/index.php" target="_blank">Platform 51</a> &#8211; supports girls and women as they take control of their lives. Girls and women are at the heart of all we do. Our activities, services and campaigns are about things they need and want. We give them a platform to have their say and challenge discrimination.     </p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span style="color: #0000ff;">F<span style="text-decoration: underline;">riends of the Peak District</span></span><span style="text-decoration: underline;"> -</span> works to protect and enhance the landscapes of the Peak District National Park and surrounding area. Despite its national park status, the Peak District is fragile and remains vulnerable to a wide range of threats. We are the only charity dedicated to protecting it.     </p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><a href="http://livlife.org/" target="_blank">LivLife</a> - gives people the chance to live a life they’ve chosen. We offer the communities we work with education, support and training to get them out of poverty and to where they want to go. Be it IT skills, tailoring, languages for tourism or business skills, we have a solution. Our centres in Tanzania are free for the local community and are hub of the communities we work in.     </p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><a href="http://www.ugandadev.org.uk/#uk" target="_blank"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="color: #0000ff;">Uganda Development Services</span></span> </a>- UDS empowers people, young and old, to escape poverty. We provide access to a world of information through our Development Centre in Kamuli and we train communities to improve their livelihoods. These practical solutions to poverty help people improve their livelihoods and health.     </p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span style="color: #0000ff;"><a href="http://www.mind.org.uk/help/mind_in_your_area/189" target="_blank"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Tameside Oldham and Glossop Mind</span> </a><span style="color: #000000;">- </span></span>Tameside Oldham and Glossop Mind is an innovative charity that works with people with mental health issues.  Our mission is to be an organisation of excellence with an ever changing and diverse range of activities and services that promotes psychological and physical well-being, stimulates recovery and leads to social inclusion within mainstream society.     </p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span style="color: #0000ff;"><a href="http://www.syeda.org.uk/" target="_blank"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">SYEDA</span> </a>- </span>Syeda is a regional charity that supports anyone suffering from an eating disorder and their carers. We use a wide range of services tailored to suit individual and family needs which include:-     </p>

<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="color: #0000ff;"><a href="http://www.reachoutuk.org/HTML/index.html" target="_blank">ReachOut!</a></span></span> &#8211; creates, develops and supports dynamic mentoring relationships. Our student mentors inspire Manchester&#8217;s young people to learn new skills, broaden their horizons, aim high and be the best they can be. ReachOut! mentoring is based on our core values; by addressing the specific needs of each person, we build our mentees’ competence and help develop character.   </p>
<p><a href="http://www.karmicangels.org.uk/" target="_blank"><span style="color: #0000ff;">Karmic Angels </span></a>- are now in their 3<sup>rd</sup> year and are just starting their 4<sup>th</sup> school build in less than 2 years in the bush in the Gambia, West Africa. We also place orphan children into education at the schools, support football academies and supply equipment for the health sector.   </p>
<p><a href="We would like to promote the charity’s services, along with selling raffle tickets for Fiat 500, Migraine books etc and would also like to sell snacks and drinks and if possible clothing">Migraine Action</a> - provide information and support to migraineurs and their families throughout the UK and overseas. Migraine Action strives to provide an excellent patient led, compassionate and empathetic support community for individuals affected by migraine.   </p>
<p><a href="http://www.downs-syndrome-derby.org/"><span style="color: #0000ff;">Down&#8217;s Syndrome Derby</span></a> - The charity exists to make a positive difference for individuals with Down syndrome in East Midlands. We do this by working with the individuals, families and the professionals involved in their development.   </p>
<p><a href="http://www.asylum-welcome.org/">Asylum Welcome</a> - exists for people fleeing persecution and danger in their own countries, who seek refuge in Oxford and Oxfordshire.  Our work is to reduce poverty, suffering and social isolation and to enable asylum seekers and refugees to live with the respect and dignity to which they are entitled.  </p>
<p><a href="http://www.baobabsurvivors.org/">Baobab Centre for Young Survivors in Exile</a> - Through psychotherapy and practical support the Baobab Centre supports child, adolescent and young adult survivors of extreme organised violence who are refugees or asylum seekers.  Most are alone having lost close family in war and political violence.  </p>

<p>The Great Big small Charity Car Draw has been drawn and the lucky winner will soon be taking delivery of a brand new FIAT 500.  </p>
<p>We are pleased to announce that the winner is Wendy Roach who bought her ticket from the 7<sup>th</sup> Dudley Scout Group.  </p>
<p>Congratulations go to our winner!  </p>
<p>Thank you to all charities that took part and to their supporters that made it another successful year.  Here are some of the highlights: </p>
<p>* 193 charities took part in 2011 Great Big small Charity Car Draw. </p>
<p>*  41,377 tickets were sold at £2 each meaning £78,781.80was raised for small charities. </p>
<p>*  17.66% of the sales were online and 82.34% were offline/ paper ticket sales. </p>
<p>*  The average amount of funds raised from the car draw per charity was £423.25.  This is a good increase on last year’s £327.88 average. </p>
<p>*  The top selling charity this year was The Animal House Rescue who raised £5,980 (£5,692.96 with 95.2%).  Congratulations to them! </p>
<p>The next top selling charities were: </p>
<p>2. Daisy Chain &#8211; £5,474 </p>
<p>3. Karmic Angels &#8211; £2,804 </p>
<p>4. Letchworth Arts Centre &#8211; £2,426 </p>
<p>5. Chickenshed &#8211; £2,124 </p>
