Training – Leadership

The FSI offers, without cost, an extensive programme of learning opportunities tailored to meet the specific needs of small charities. As part of this programme we would like to offer the following training opportunity for up to 14 delegates. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Whenever people sign up for an endeavour, they come with specific expectations about how they want to be led and managed. This one day course will help delegates to identify the qualities they need to display, as leaders, to get the best performance from staff and volunteers; to assess their own current leadership style; and understand the fundamentals that need to be in place to achieve the organisations’ mission and goals.

The course will cover:

What is Leadership?
Our own Leadership style
The Value of a Vision
Credibility of a Leader
Current research on Leadership
Engaging others in achieving the Vision
Developing capability in staff and volunteers
A leader’s personal development plan

Target Audience

This course will benefit CEOs and senior managers who want to develop their leadership qualities.
