Leadership Training launched – 10th September 2010
There are places still available for the upcoming one-day Leadership training day on 10th of September. Good leadership is at the heart of the very best small charities and, just like any other skill, it is a good idea to keep up to date with the latest trends and tools in the field.
The course will include the following topics:
- Your own Leadership style;
- The Value of a Vision;
- Credibility of a Leader;
- Engaging others in achieving the Vision;
- Developing capability in staff and volunteers.
This training day is designed to give delegates background knowledge and basic skills and tools to be an effective leader. By the end of the day you will have a better understanding of your own preferred leadership style, the qualities needed of an effective leader, and a development plan for building on their leadership skills back in their own organisation.
To book your free place contact Sophie by e-mailing sophie@thefsi.org to register your interest. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. This course is delivered by leadership specialist Barbara Watkinson as part of the FSI Learning Programme.
