Win with the FSI and the Guardian

We are fast approaching the end of June after what has been the busiest and best six months in the history of the FSI!

We cannot thank you enough for helping make an amazing inaugural Small Charity Week. This event shone the spotlight on small charities and in events right across the country our sector exceeded expectations. This comes as no surprise to us – but much of this was new to the policymakers, media and some of the public who engaged with Small Charity Week.

If you have any photos of your Small Charity Week activities or you know of any media stories that we may not have seen then please let us know – we want a complete record of this amazing first-time event! Please send these through to info@smallcharityweek.com.

One way to build on the success of Small Charity Week (and all the work you do!) is to enter the Guardian Charity Awards. The FSI has partnered with the Guardian to deliver these awards this year – they are just for small charities and reward achievement and excellence. We know how excellent you are – now it’s time to show everyone!

Five winners will be selected and each will receive a fantastic prize package that includes £6,000 cash, a package of additional FSI support services, a specialised support package from the Media Trust, and more!

You have until the 16th of July to submit your application – we urge you to do so. For more information, and to enter, visit http://www.guardian.co.uk/charity-awards.

As always, keep an eye on the FSI website for more information. We will be releasing new training dates soon – so make sure you book early.
