Tuesday, November 24th, 2009Wow – what a week

Wow – what a week.  Last night we had our annual engagement event where we try very hard to secure new donors to the FSI.  You guys know how difficult it is but as we tell you in Major Gift Training – it is all in the numbers and you have to engage, engage, engage in order to inspire, inspire, inspire donors to support your charities.

Emma was amazing, she lifted the room with her story of how the FSI was born and then went on to tell them about what we have in store for the future – FANTASTIC, watch this space for…. Small Charity Week – news on SMART PHILANTHROPY and more.

Tomorrow I am in Wolverhampton speaking at an IOF Conference on Volunteers so setting off soon – do you love the new site? – I do.

    Hello, I have been visiting your site for a while, and would like to to ask you a question if you don’t mind. I’ve just set up my website and looking for ways to advertise my blog in Google, as I’ve been getting some profitable traffic from Google and want to improve it. I have been reading what this website says about site promotion and building links ht tp://webmasters-tools.info/i/linkbuilding.php I know the more backlinks I have pointing my site, the higher my position in Google it will be. But I was just wondering if other website owners in the same genre have been following it, and if you would recommend it? I would sincerely appreciate your opinion, as I’m in two minds whether to implement it. Thank you very much 8)
