Workshop 2009 – Moi Ali
Moi Ali has been a successful freelance PR consultant for the last 16 years, trading under the name The Pink Anglia Public Relations Company. Specialising in public relations, communications and marketing services for voluntary organisations, charities, healthcare organisations and the public sector, she has over 25 years’ experience in the business.
Moi is also an author and her books include works on PR and on marketing for Dorling Kindersley’s best-selling Essential Manager series, as well as a number of books aimed at the voluntary sector and small businesses.
Before becoming freelance, Moi held a number of in-house communications roles with a High Street bank, a third world charity and a government agency, where she was involved with media relations, internal communications, campaigning and public affairs.
In her spare time Moi is a trustee of a healthcare charity and has held a number of non-executive roles, including Vice President of the world’s largest healthcare regulator and Board member of a non-departmental public body and a health authority.
Enhancing your Charity’s Reputation using Public Relations and Marketing

This workshop is a beginner’s introduction to PR and marketing, and will show how you can use PR and marketing techniques in a cost-effective way to enhance the reputation of your charity, improve your services and promote your work. You will leave the session with a simple matrix that will help you to undertake an image audit of your charity and draw up an action plan that will enable you to promote a more positive image.
