Training – Stewardship

The FSI offers, without cost, an extensive programme of learning opportunities tailored to meet the specific needs of small charities. As part of this programme we would like to offer the following training opportunity for up to 12 delegates. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

No practice is more important than Stewardship. Stewardship is a mindset, a philosophical commitment to the way you value your donors and supporters – your tool to build and maintain their ‘life long’ relationships with your charity.
This one day course is a chance for delegates to identify who they should be thanking, which relationships to nurture and how best to go about it. Delegates leave the session understanding the vital role of Stewardship in increasing long term support and with a lot of ideas as teams fight it out for the prize awarded for the most creative stewardship idea!

The Training Event will cover:

* What is Stewardship and why it is so important?
* Building a Stewardship Programme
* Donor Attrition & Stagnation
* Getting creative – standing out from the crowd

This one day course is designed to give an overview of the process and delegates should consider attending:

* Developing Your Case for Support (2 day training event)
* Securing Major Gifts from Individuals (2 day training event) – recommended prior to this course
* Trusts and Foundations
